Tortilla Chip Ovens

The Ultra-Bake continuous baking and toasting ovens consist of an insulated chamber, heavy duty mechanical components and a high efficiency combustion system.  Ultra-Bake ovens are the result of over 20 years of continual technology development for baking corn and wheat flour tortillas, tortilla chips, and similar products that require baking or toasting.

 

Features and Benefits

  • An extra heavy duty steel or stainless steel support frame is the base construction for all Ultra-Bake ovens. The unique design of the frame allows for thermal expansion of baking bands, belt supports, and internally mounted mechanical and combustion components.
  • Ovens are offered with a fully automated modulation combustion system to provide optimum baking conditions. Each combustion system is fully tested upon completion of fabrication to ensure proper operation. All units are supplied with Factory Mutual gas train components and UL electrical components. Units are also offered with a remote mounted control and combustion system.
  • Continuous ribbon burners along with FOODesign's "Sure-Lite" automatic pilot and ignition systems provide continuous flame safety and even belt temperature. High efficiency ribbon burners are used to reduce cost of operation and provide complete heat control.
  • Fully insulated chamber is standard on all units. The hinged high temperature insulated chamber isolation doors and hinged exterior doors reduce cost of energy and provide safe operating environment in processing plants.
  • Microprocessor temperature controls provide continuous heat control and monitoring. Independent temperature control is provided for each belt on multiple belt systems to provide total flexibility
